Joined the Committee in 2010 when invited to join by Mark Randall as apparently they thought I had ideas. I had been quite happy in my unofficial capacity to proffer suggestions on ways the Club could go forward! Now finding that they've got plenty of ideas themselves but

did need bodies willing to try to make them happen. The past year has been one enjoyable roller coaster ride as We experience the thrills and spills of supporting a great non league side.

I had first watched the mighty Stones as a kid at Lower Mead in the early to mid seventies and the experience gave me the grounding when I went on to watch Chelsea through the eighties and nineties. Always having the Stones as my non league side meant I still went along over the years and saw the great side of the mid eighties as they trounced all comers. The move away from Lower Mead led to a period of time when I missed the wilderness years of Watford and Yeading. Started to drift back at Edgware and then saw the light during our time at Northwood as it co incided with a demise in my Chelsea supporting pursuits (for a number of reasons). By the time we moved to Grosvenor Vale I was a regular again for home games. The following season I ventured to some of our games away. Now I'm pretty much every game as work allows. My Son accompanies me to games and follows in the footsteps of my Dad taking me all those years ago. My two girls do the turnstile duties - just need to get my wife to find her role at the Club - there's something for everyone!
